HARTFORD, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fight between a Hartford city commissioner and a member of the public that was caught on video.
The fight happened between two city commission meetings between commissioner Charlie Weeden and John Spoula.
Weeden can be seen walking out from behind the dais as the city’s public works supervisor tries to block his path toward the man.
The three men fell into chairs as Spoula took a swing.
Spoula is asking for Weeden to be charged and is launching a recall effort against him.
