BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The third suspect in the 2023 murder of Battle Creek Central High School senior Jack Snyder has pled guilty to involuntary manslaughter.
A charge of open murder against 21-year-old Marcus Parsons was dropped in exchange.
14-year-old Justice Chimner and 13-year-old Dewond Estes the Third tried to carjack Snyder, who offered them a ride when they were walking in the cold on February 17th of 2023.
Chimner admitted he shot the 17-year-old twice when they were struggling for the keys.
Parsons had communicated with the two younger teens to steal a car for money that day.
