KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – It’s been a little less than a month since Kalamazoo County staged its first county fair in several years, and interim Administrator Terrell Cole says the county parks director plans to deliver an assessment at their meeting Tuesday.
The event was brought back to see if they could make it self-sustaining and also see if they could eventually find someone else to manage the event.
Two commissioners gave the fair high marks, with Wendy Mazer saying she now wants to get a goat of her own, and John Gisler praised the rodeo.
Whether or not it continues, and in what form it takes may depend on how well it did this year.
