KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – After being closed for almost a year, the new owners of the BIGGBY® COFFEE Ice Cube – Kalamazoo got to show off their renovated facility to the public this past Saturday.
The former Wings West is a multi-purpose sports facility located at 5076 Sports Drive, and will offer various hockey and skate programs, public skating, drop ins, leagues, trade shows, and private rentals.
The Black Bear Sports Group purchased and renovated the facility. They say hundreds of community members came through the doors Saturday to take part in free public skate sessions, Take a Shot at Hockey (TASH) class previews, learn-to-skate sessions, and drop-in programs.
