COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Four Comstock Township Board of Trustees members have resigned since Friday, leaving the board without a quorum.
Township supervisor Ben Martin says trustee Bob Pratt resigned Monday, following Kristie Cherry, Terrance McIver and Nicole Beauchamp, who stepped down on Friday.
Both Pratt and Cherry were being recalled in the November election.
Martin, Treasurer Sandra Bloomfield and trustee Jerry Amos are the only ones on the board, and their meeting last night was canceled as a result.
The Kalamazoo County Election Commission will appoint a temporary fourth trustee today.
