KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Kalamazoo city commission is expected to put a charter amendment question on the November ballot that would create a Kalamazoo Citizens Healthcare Action Committee.
It is the result of a citizens’ petition to create such an advisory body.
They would be tasked with creating a healthcare action plan to make recommendations to city commissioners to address healthcare costs and healthcare inaccessibility for city residents.
It is on tonight’s 7 p.m. agenda.
