KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – After canceling most of the usual fair attractions over the past several years, the 2026 Kalamazoo County Fair begins Tuesday with many fair attractions that have been missing.
It has been a 4-H Showcase with just events like animal shows and auctions since the Covid-19 pandemic, but this year carnival rides and games return Thursday, as well as musical and other entertainment. That portion of the fair will run through Saturday, August 8.
4-H activities will be the focus Tuesday and Wednesday, but continuing into the weekend as well.
