PORTAGE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Air Quality Alert and smokey air conditions across Michigan are forcng the cancelation of several events in Portage Friday.
The monthly Friday at the Flats July 17 has been scraped, with the next Friday at the Flats taking place August 21 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. at Celery Flats, 7335 Garden Lane.
The Portage Zhang Senior Center Cars and Cocktails Car Show scheduled for Friday has also been postponed. They say the decision was made to ensure the safety of participants, spectators, volunteers, entertainers, and staff. Organizers say they are working to identify a new date for the event.
