HOWARD TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Bond for a Cassopolis man has been set at one-million-dollars in Cass County after he was arrested over the Fourth of July weekend for a shooting and an assault.
33-year-old William Werner was arrested after he crashed his car into a pole, got out, and assaulted a woman.
Werner is also accused of shooting at a car occupied by two adults and four children just over two miles away from where he crashed.
Sheriff’s deputies say the names of the victims will not be released.
