KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – In an effort to help district families get ready for the upcoming school year, Kalamazoo Public Schools is hosting a Summer Family Outreach Event this Saturday.
District officials say Superintendent Dr. Darrin Slade will share a brief presentation at 2:00 p.m. at the Interfaith Community Building, 1037 Interfaith Blvd. Following the presentation, free educational resources, including take-home readiness materials, will be shared with families.
Families in attendance will have the opportunity to win a big-screen television and a bicycle. A light meal will be provided, and families will have the opportunity to connect with other KPS leaders.
