ALBION, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Albion Department of Public Safety is actively searching for two missing teenagers, 15-year-old Aiden Marion and 14-year-old Arriannah Goodman, who are believed to be heavily armed and travelling together willingly. The teens families reported the pair missing on Sunday.
Investigators discovered that Marion allegedly stole a loaded AR-15-style rifle equipped with at least one full magazine from his home before leaving.
Police are deeply concerned about the teenagers’ welfare, emphasizing that Goodman has an undisclosed medical condition that requires daily prescription medication.
Law enforcement officials reported that the runaway couple prepared for an extended stay outdoors, taking a significant cache of food and camping gear while purposefully leaving their cellular phones behind.
Because the teens have no known vehicular transportation, police suspect they are attempting to hitchhike or have already secured a ride from an unsuspecting driver.
Based on initial leads, investigators believe their ultimate destination is somewhere in Indiana, Ohio, or Virginia.
While local drone searches of nearby wooded lots have yielded no results, the Albion Department of Public Safety advises members of the public to use extreme caution and avoid approaching the juveniles directly, requesting that any sightings be reported immediately to Calhoun County dispatchers at 517-629-7854.
