KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Broncos Kitchen Foundation has received a $6,000 grant from the Mike and Sharon Seelye Family Foundation.
The money will help provide operational resources and free, nutritious meals to homeless citizens, the elderly and disabled individuals, food-insecure families, and veterans living in Kalamazoo County throughout the summer.
Free meals will be served at several locations in Kalamazoo County starting in June, and those will be available on the God’s Kitchen of Michigan website.
Broncos Kitchen Foundation is the fiscal sponsor for God’s Kitchen of Michigan, a nonprofit soup kitchen celebrating its 15th anniversary this year. God’s Kitchen of Michigan was incorporated on January 20, 2011, and has since provided nearly 170,000 free meals to those in need throughout Kalamazoo, Battle Creek, Portage, and Oshtemo Township.
