BATTTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – FireKeepers Casino outside Battle Creek was evacuated for a short time early Saturday morning after a bomb threat.
A FireKeepers spokesperson says after a thorough search by casino security and law enforcement, the threat was deemed to be false and patrons were allowed back into the building.
The bomb threat came in shortly after midnight.
Tuesday the Branch County Courthouse in Coldwater also received a bomb threat, causing it and other buildings in the nearby area to close for several hours until an all clear was issued.
