VICKSBURG, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The former Fox River paper mill in Vicksburg could become a large outdoor concert venue by next summer.
The owners of the 54-acre site are proposing holding concerts at the mill on Saturdays with space for up to 10,000 people.
The Vicksburg Planning Commission heard the proposal this week to hold concerts in the horseshoe-shaped portion of the mill.
The Mill Group will present the proposal to the Vicksburg Village Council at their next meeting, scheduled for Monday night.
It would be the largest concert venue in Kalamazoo County, if approved.
