LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Secretary of State’s office says over 34,000 drivers have chosen the red, white, and blue semi-quincentennial license plate for their vehicles.
The plate is a slight update to the 1976 bicentennial plate that earned the state its first “Plate of the Year” award from the Automobile License Plate Collectors Association.
The only difference is in the bottom left corner, where “26” is in place instead of “76.”
The plates are available through the end of the year.
