PORTAGE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Portage city council held their last meeting with City Manager Patrick McGinnis running the show.
He retires before they will hold their first meeting in July.
Last night’s meeting was a long one, lasting over four hours.
Mayor Patricia Randall thanked McGinnis for his service.
The council hopes to have a new city manager in place by early this fall.
In the meantime, Adam Herringa will serve as the interim city manager.
